*This includes room, shows and picnic.

WMU Quarterly Meeting | | September 13, 2010 |
Our quarterly WMU meeting will be on Sept 13th & 14th.
The Sept 13th, Monday night meeting will take place at Mount Sharon Baptist Church at 6:30pm.
The Sept 14th, Tuesday morning meeting will take place at Hepzibah Baptist Church at 10:00am.
*Lucretia Mobbs of Alabama WMU will be our speaker for both meetings.

WMU Event | | September 14, 2010 | Our WMU, and all women of the church, have been invited to FBC of Oak Grove to hear Jan Whittle on September 14th at 6:30pm. Some of the topics she speaks on are “What to Do When Your World Falls Apart...When Nothing Will Ever Be the Same Again,” and “I Will Hide Beneath the Shadows of Your Wings Until This Storm is Past~Psalms 57:1.” Since refreshments will be served, I will need to RSVP by Sept 9th. Since she will be coming from Panama City Beach, a love offering will be taken.

Kathleen Mallory Mission Offering | | September 15, 2010 |
The WMU Day of Prayer and Kathleen Mallory Mission Offering is set for September 15, 2010.
This offering funds the work of Alabama WMU. Our membership seeks to share the message and love of Christ with our local communities, our state, our nation and the world.
Our theme is taken from Hebrews 13:16 NIV: “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
Our prayer focus this year is on WorldSong Missions Place, Alabama WMU’s camping ministry located in Cook Springs.
Offerings will be taken throughout the month of September. Envelopes will be available in the church vestiblue on the display table.
